My Story

A common saying we have all heard, often without grasping the deep meaning behind those simple words. Yet, one that resonates deeply within Jennifer’s mind… As a matter of fact, she is the living proof that one small decision can drastically change your life! Sometimes for the worst and other times for the better. 

It turns out her story belongs to the latter, even though she had no clue back then. When she took that decision, she never would have guessed what was about to happen, how it would influence her life and shape her into the extraordinary person she is now.

But long before the fame, the successful entrepreneur and the thriving businesses, there was just a regular high-school girl with a head full of dreams. It all started more than 20 years ago in the city of love, fine cuisine, and fashion. You probably guessed it but this French native was born and raised in Paris. Though the city is the perfect embodiment of refinement and luxury, Jennifer grew up in a modest yet hard-working family.

Her passion for the hospitality industry ignited at the tender age of 14 when she started working in her family's restaurants, setting the stage for a remarkable career. Slowly but surely, she began honing her skills while gaining invaluable experience in the field. 

Though she fully committed to the family business, she did not neglect her studies. Pursuing a degree in international business, Jennifer was looking for an internship abroad and ended up in Manchester. What started as a cultural exchange to learn the English language would become a major turning point in her life. 

She immediately fell in love with the country and decided to stay in the UK, paving the way for a whole new vibrant career. Not one to shy away from a challenge, she not only mastered the Shakespeare language but managed to work her way up – from bartending to reception management – perfecting her skills at renowned establishments such as Corbin & King, the Wolseley Restaurant, Colbert, and the Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair.

Inheriting her parents’ business spirit, she made her first steps in the realm of entrepreneurs co-founding La Ratatouille, a French fine cuisine restaurant in Marylebone, one of the richest and trendiest London neighbourhoods. This successful venture unveiled her true potential and deeply boosted her confidence. Embracing this triumph, Jennifer went on to establish her own thriving businesses, Etincelle Bespoke Events and Managing AMS Group One, marking her a dynamic notable force within the industry. 

With over 20 years of experience, Jennifer now wants to pass on her knowledge to the future hospitality talents. However, this is nothing new as she already brilliantly led training sessions, onboarded staff members, and created successful workshops while working at Corbin & King and La Ratatouille. 

As a certified coach and mentor, Jennifer dedicates herself to training and guiding the future and current leaders of hospitality and event planning. Genuinely passionate about what she does, she empowers full-fledged and aspiring entrepreneurs, with a special emphasis on women’s advancement in the field. Her unwavering dedication and commitment were duly recognized when she was awarded the Best Hospitality Leader and Best Luxury Event Planner titles in 2023.
